Celsius to Fahrenheit
Enter a temperature in Celsius to see it in Fahrenheit. Swap the units, or pick Kelvin, to convert the other way.
How to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit
Multiply the Celsius temperature by 9/5 (1.8), then add 32.
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32
For example, normal body temperature of 37°C is 98.6°F, and the boiling point of water, 100°C, is 212°F.
Mental shortcut: double the Celsius value and add 30. For 20°C: 40 + 30 = 70°F (exact: 68°F). It gets less accurate at extreme temperatures.
